Diversity, Equity and Inclusion | Wedotalk with David Jaques and Special Guests: Claudia Thompson and Pattie Howard

On April 29, 2022, David interviewed Claudia Thompson. Claudia is the head of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Panel for BNI (Business Network International), and is also an independent diversity consultant and keynote speaker on diversity in the workplace. Also joining me was Pattie Howard, Chief diversity Officer for Wedo.
Claudia grew up in New York City, and currently lives in Boston. Having experienced racial trauma herself, Claudia has become a voice for inclusion and equality, teaching people how to connect and network with each other. She has taught business owners of color to connect with networks outside of their own in order to grow and progress their businesses. In addition to her main role at BNI, Claudia is also a senior launch coach, focusing on recruiting members that are diverse.
Claudia is a strong proponent of creating a space for people to feel safe and be truly appreciated.
